You can get a standard straight trigger guard or you can get one that is more open for gloves like the seekins.

Yeah I got that but I'm seeing like $20 trigger guards when a $6 looks the same. Is there really any functional difference other than manufacturer?

KSG with salvo

Keep the KSG. I am 2 months into my 12.5" 870. Decided that a 6" 870 would be twice as nice. Serbu ftw.

Plastic vs aluminum usually.

I honestly hate the KSG and would only get one if I had a salvo. Something about a ksg with a salvo in k configuration is just sexy as hell.

I can make the Salvo happen, but looks like Serbu does their own distribution. I could probably get you a Black Aces though.

I'll get in touch with you soon. Either through Carson or Bapple. Thanks.

Materials, fit and quality control.

Seems hard to justify $20+ for a piece of metal that had almost no functional purpose.

I'm guessing you can just buy a trigger guard but what's the real customization on it. Can someone break that down for me?

A lot of builds use Magpul furniture - most folks will match the stock, grip and trigger guard (and, quite often the sights and hand guards on the upper).

I spent a little more on my last two builds and got a trigger guard that screwed in place instead using a roll pin. I've never broken an ear on the lower installing the trigger guard but that's always the part of the build process that worries me the most. I got a $10 polymer one that screwed in from Amazon. Fit was a little loose so I shimmed it. Works fine.

Magpul uses a roll pin on one end and a hex screw on the other.

I agree. That's why I get aluminum ones made and sell them for $10.

Do you sell your upper and lower stripped? I didn't see it on your site.

I do not at the moment. I want to hold the brand close for a little while before I risk putting them out there where any yahoo could poorly put one together and it have my name on it.
