Actually, the Academy of Pediatricians rec'd some years ago for pediatricians to ask their pts/parents about guns in the home.
Re: Obamacare and it's effect on gun control and what questions are asked of pts, I think we should remember what Nancy Pelosi so eloquently said while the bill was being debated: "We have to pass the bill to know what's in it."
The Snopes link deals w/ Medicare and not Obamacare. I'll admit I've not read the 2700 pages of Obamacare to know conclusively what's in it or not in it. OTOH, given the philosophy to guns that Obama and his party have demonstrated, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Obamacare having some anti-gun stipulations.....
