My dream job would be to go work for one of the big yacht builders in the Carolinas. I just need a foot in the door somewhere.

Got a friend in the Carolinas in your line of work. Not marine and possibly not coastal. If you like I'll send a txt and see if they're looking for that kind of education.

Would you settle for building boats at Gator Trax? They are growing, it'd be good experience to get your foot in the door in the industry

Probably so, but I was thinking more in line of the supply chain/logistics angle, not necessarily hands on boat building.

Yeah man the east coast is pretty awesome. Great weather, food, coast life, flood tides, etc.

do any of the east coast states have significantly better inshore and offshore fishing than the others (excluding florida)?
