Your offer is more than fair. Wish I had been offered earlier.

That is my understanding as well....A licensed hunter can take all 5 of his/her does in a single day if they want (hill and Delta zones).

No daily bag limit in Delta Zone. Just make sure your record keeping can count to five.

I apologize. I re-read your post and can see your context better now after your reply. What you are offering is generous and I hope you meet your goal and the guys that can make it are successful.

Man this sounds excellent. While I know I can't do it this year because of late notice, I would like to be a part of it next season.

My youngest son has hunted with me for a few years now, but my oldest has just this year started showing an interest and hasn't been able to bag one this season. If you decide to do it next season, with the payment of $1000 would I be able to bring both or one of them along?

I am making this up as I go along. But I would say something like:

Kids who sit on a stand with their parents are half price
Kids 14 and over who hunt by themselves are full price

Something like that.

Man, I really would like to do this with my 7 year old son. What are the laws for licenses of a youth hunting with their dad. Would I need to buy a MS license if he is the one shooting? And how much is an out of state license for me?

ETA: Tell me about the duck hunting. Is it any good and what type of ducks?

Non-Resident - All non-resident hunters, except minors under the age of sixteen (16), are required to obtain a hunting license while hunting in the State of Mississippi.

I don't think so, but others may be able to clarify that

3 day non-resident license is $129.29 and permit is $7.29

Youths do not need licenses

You can get an out of state license for $130 I believe. If you have a gun in the field, you need a license. No gun, no license. FTR, I am not in the business of checking licenses.

We have a duck hole on the place that's been holding about 100 mallards since Christmas. Of course, they may be in Iowa by the weekend. We have had some nice hunts in there this year.

You better talk to a Lawyer and have some liability waivers drawn up Baw.

We carry a large GL policy with an umbrella. Because we are a working farm with employees, equipment, logging activities, etc.

My father was managing partner of the largest law firm in the state of MS before he retired to his home in West Palm, FL. My brother in law is a past president of the MS Trial Lawyers Association.

So, I think we are covered. But I appreciate the legal advice.

So up to 5 does and a decent buck for $2500? I hunt 30 minutes south of you and pay more than that with zero guarantees what do you consider a trophy and management buck on your place?
