As my uncle (from Big Bend) once told me: an illegal deer is a deer that I would only kill by myself, or when I'm with someone else.

Just got reports from Big Branch, Manchac, and Biloxi.....0 Teal.

Trust me, im not one of those selfish guys who like to steer hunters away from my spots, it sounds like its gonna be a waste of time this weekend.

I've got reports out of St.Bernard saying Teal have been spotted. I'm going in the morning out of Campos marina headed towards Lena lagoon. All the area is private land though.

I reported what Mike at Reggio landing told my brother. Birds showed up yesterday afternoon. Now that is a second hand report.

Easy there killer. Not seeing teal in those places at this time of year doesn't concern me.

I don't trust a damn thing this man says. I apologize if he's a good friend of yours or something. I'm not trying to call him a liar or anything, but I have some reason to believe he may embellish.

4 of us heading out in the morning. One dove mojo on a tall pole in the rice field. One good dog. No decoys. They can't see then in the rice stubble anyway. Hope to be back t the house by 7:30, by the way my hummingbirds left 3 days ago

Just went and checked in Klondike. They're in our field thick.
Jumped a couple hundred or more out at around 5:00 this afternoon. Several very large groups landing all around us while we were there.

Well just as fast as they were here they were gone. Shot few on Saturday. And even fewer on Sunday. Amazing how they operate

I'm hoping I get to hunt down around Creole this weekend. Hope this front coming thru at the end of the week pushes the remainder of the teal down.

I hope it's not the "remainder". I hope it gets it started... we didn't see but about 2 dozen birds Sat. so we slept in Sunday.

If this front pushes the remainder down, we are in a world of hurt.

Forecast low sat in Alex 63, with rain. Think I'm skipping some tailgating.
