When a truck is the best selling for over 35 years, it's natural that a few minor repairs will occur. Don't let these butthurt fanboys get to ya.

I have yet to get the rated mpg in any vehicle I've driven. Not even close actually. My truck supposedly gets 21 highway. I got 18-19 once, with cruise control on 70 on interstate for the entire tank. Supposed to get like 18 city, I can't get more than 13 or 14 around town.

I was shocked that my truck actually gets the rated mpgs. I normally average right around 19 or 20...sometimes more...when I'm doing purely highway driving. 32 gal. tanks means less stops too

ETA: And I have 390hp/407tq on tap

is anybody even close to dodge as far as hp on similar platforms. I believe all the other similar engines are 40-50hp less 340-50 vs 390 on the middle 5 liters and 470 to 410ish on the 6 liters

Ehhemm. Dodge 6.4 has 470 hp.

6.2 is not a similar platform to the 5.7.

The 6.4 is not available in any Dodge trucks. Only a select few Jeeps and cars, the 6.2 is available in 4 trims of F150s and standard in the F250.

And no, they are not similar at all. The 6.2 makes a lot more HP and TQ.

ETA:
the Tundra 5.7 says hey from the mid 5 liter class
the Ford 6.7 diesel says hey from the mid 6 liter class

Nor is a 6.4 similar to a 6.2. Do Dodge's even have a 6.4?

And even if so, I'd take the extravagant Ford interior and 59 less HP over Dodge's shitty interiors and 59 more HP. What are you gonna do with 470hp anyway? 411 is perfectly adequate.

P.S. I'm not trying to dog on you. You're definitely of the better posters here, and I'm not trying to disrespect. You know how truck fights go, though.

I have heard that rumor for years. I honestly hope that its not as big of a flop as the SRT Rams were. If Ram plays their cards right, they can steal a lot of GMs customers and second place trophy.
