They will move them regardless if you buy it or not they are popular and they know this.

Best time to buy is when Polaris has their sales.

I bought my 2016 900xp right when the 17s came out. MSRP on mine was 14.7 without any options. Added the roof, winch, and extended warranty was at 11k during the sale event.

Long term, the mule profx is an awesome machine with a great warranty.

I've already had the front diff replaced on my general due to a bum prop shaft seal.

Kawasaki will be my next fun side by side purchase unless Yamaha steps their game back up.

That's wild, Polaris ruled the game for so long.

It's no slight against them.

My Honda is on it's second output seal and will likely need a frame because the AArm mounts weren't welded properly.

My Yamaha 1000 ate seals every 2-3k miles.

shite happens with all of them.

Operator makes more of a difference than anything.

Sunrise motorsports in Searcy, AR. Just bought one last month, they saved me right at $2,000. Great customer service and even stayed open late for me making the drive from North LA.

Supposed to have a PTO to qualify for 1.5% farm tax.

Go to Texas and pay zero tax. I have a Texas Agricultural Permit and in the last three years have bought crew Mule, Bush hog, rotary tiller, Zero turn Kubota mower and a tractor and haven’t paid a dime in sales tax.

Can you Email or post your TX AG Permit so we can all take advantage of this?

Do you own property? You can apply for and get your own.

It is the Texas Agricultural and Timber Permit and you can use a Louisiana address.

LINK

Any dealer in Texas will fill the application and submit it for you. It expires at the end of December yearly and can be renewed online.

For those considering doing this who are residents of Louisiana... This is a bad idea.

Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi all report titled sales to each other now.

Should you not pay taxes, Louisiana will not only send you a bill, they will charge considerable interest on said taxes.

If you are indeed a farmer, you can submit a r-1085 and have your state taxes waived if you qualify as a commercial farmer.

Martini, that you haven't been caught yet is luck.

It was something we encountered fairly frequently with Louisiana based businesses registering units in South Dakota.

Not sure about a Polaris but the guys in Brookhaven were untouchable on a Kawasaki Mule FX Pro 2 years ago. I saved over $2,000 and didn’t have any issues. My Mule has been a beast. It gets used for all kinds of farm type work during the year then used in duck ponds during hunting season.

No they don’t and I own a fricking farm. You don’t know what you are talking about. It’s a legal transaction.

Yes. Yes they do.

Started reporting in 2011 I believe.

Of the items you listed, the mule is the only reported sale.

Not having been caught yet is more a testament to Jindal gutting ldr and omv. They do report.

All three states have specific forms which state you are not a resident and therefore the state you are purchasing in are not entitled to your tax dollars.

For those smart enough to not take the advice of two idiots bickering on the internet, please reference R-20164 for the state of Louisiana or email sales.inquiries@la.gov

Manager at ATVzone in Roseland told me if I gave him my Mississippi address he wouldn’t charge me any sales tax on a Polaris and it would be up to me to report it in Mississippi - and that most customers don’t bother.
