HOL-E-CRAP That thing looks like it should belong in front of a Tourist destination Seafood Restaurant with netting and fake lobsters all over it.

The narrowness or what appears to be narrowness would drive me crazy.

What do you think between a 22' or 24' pathfinder?

I was shopping a few months ago... I was thinking 20 or 22'. Most people told me to go 24'.

I like my 22' Nautic Star, but my next boat might be a 22, but more likely will be a 24'.

The extra room is usually on the rear deck... mine is very fishable, but I drool at all the room on 24 rear decks... and the in general, the 24 will should be more comfortable to ride in...

How many people you plan on fishing with?

Enjoy your search

well i will usually fish 3 or 4. but will probably end up taking 6-8+ out to the sandbar.

I want to go with a 24', but there are so many 22s out there. not may 24's....i guess that should tell me something.

most people can't justify the price difference. if you can afford the 24' by all means go for it

Good used 22 and 24 are harder to come by... you'll have to be ready to pull the trigger, which may not always be the right answer...

Begin a list of what you HAVE to have, when you find that boat, get it.

I HAD to have a 4 stroke Yammie.

What's on your list so far?

IMO, a powerpole is more crucial than a trolling motor...

Well, here is what i HAVE to have.

-4 stroke 200-250hp. yamaha would be ideal but not mandatory.
-jack plate (could be added after purchase)
-Trim tabs
-Decent enough leaning post with back rest with/without livewell.
-tandem trailer

thats it.

trolling motor, powerpole, livewell, etc. are not mandatory.
I would love to go all out on an iPilot trolling motor and gps/ff.
I would be satisfied making my own cajun anchor and mounts myself.
and i could make an ice chest livewell but this would be the closest to a mandatory.
