I need a scope that’s great in low light. Right before the end of shooting time. Anybody got any recommendations

If you spend $300-$500 on a scope today from any sort of reputable company it'll take you well past the legal shooting time.

What price range are you talking? Zeis V4 3-12-44 $699. Buy from Sports Optics right now get 13 % off. Meopta also makes some good scopes. I use both and have no complaints

Any of the top end glass is good. I have quite a few setups, and the best by far is my Tract 4x30 FFP 30 mm tube and 56mm front aperture, just takes advantage of everything that lets that light in….

Following.

Looking for refs for Rimfire.

I need to replace 2 Nikon 3-9x40 that bit the dust on me.

Any OB reviews of the Leupold Freedom?

You’ve used the high end scopes late in the evening as well?

My nicest is a Razor HD; that’s high end for some, poverty level for others.

Schmidt Bender Zenith, I have that as well as 2 Swaro’s. Can’t go wrong either way but the Schmidt wins by a hair!

Swarovski has the best glass. Any model you buy will be better than another brand.

If money is no object Swarovski, but check out Eurooptic they have Trijicon on sale - Japanese made excellent glass for the price. More rugged than swaro

I’m getting this scope for $469.

Meopta Optika6 2.5-15x44 in BDC reticle

This is from Predator optics. He post on Hunttalk and is reliable. He also quoted me great prices on Leupold VX5s.

I’ve got a Meostar on one of my guns and it’s one of the brightest scopes I have. Pretty sure it’s the 3x12x56.

That's what I have on my .270... that thing can get you in trouble. Especially if there's any amount of moonlight.
