You might could find one at a junk yard where they have wrecked cars/trucks.
We blew the engine in a Pathfinder years ago and had a new (used) one put in. Seems like they put an Infinity motor in as replacement, but we found it at a junk yard.

Either way, I would do some Google machine work for home fixes. Sometimes you can just change oil type and improve the situation.
Seafoam in engine 500 miles before oil change. Then switch to an oil that cleans really well.
The coked up rings can actually came around.

What used to be only diesel engine oil nowadays is usually multiuse. They've been able to cut back on some additives since ulsd doesn't require the same oil as regular diesel did. As a result, that oil is now safe for gas engine catalyst and therefor fine to use in gas engines.
OP may be able to switch to a good 5w-40 HD oil and help the issue if he does have leaky valve seals.
I'd dig around on bobistheoilguy for some home fixing. Those guys nerd out hard on this kind of stuff.
Again if it's just valve seals, that's FAR less money and work than a rebuild.

I would advise finding some forums specifically for that model vehicle to start reading up on. I learned a ton of stuff about my old car and did a bunch of work myself eventually. Anything short of a machine shop, you can do yourself. Those guys who are enthusiast usually sell/trade in the parts for those cars so sourcing a new head or whatever can be much easier.
Some of us that have older cars we love to work on, buy a wrecked 2nd one to pull parts from.
Good luck my dude

I’m impressed you found a way to destroy a 4 cylinder Toyota engine in the first place
More like Toyota figured out a way to screw up a very good engine. Toyota went to a low-tension ring package, for fuel economy and lower viscosity oils, and it has caused oil consumption issues. You can still get 300k miles out of the engine but the oil burning only gets worse with time. Whoever rebuilds it needs to know about the issue and set the engine up with an improved ring package.
