10" ryobi table saw and a ryobi router table. Nothing fancy, I used scraps to build it.

Built this farmhouse table and benches this past weekend. Found the chairs at a garage sale for 5 bucks each and wife recovered them. Bought legs at Lowes and built the rest.

Probably not my coolest but my most recent, Wife wanted to order the identical design coffee table from a store costing nearly 4k. I said I'll take care of it, 2 weeks later it was done. The wood used is reclaimed old growth cypress that was on a house built in the 1800's. It was reclaimed first in the 70's and went on my parents house. When My parents remodeled this was in the waste pile, I planed the boards (actual 2x4's) and pressed together. I welded a 3/4 inch box tube frame to hold it. IMO it came out way better than the one my wife wanted to order.

How did you attach the boards to the frame? Looks good. Industrial look is getting very popular.

I have one almost identical. FIL did the metal work and I did the top.
Attached it with a single screw on each board.

I put this together last week but I can't keep the cabinet doors straight. Think I'm going to have to build them with 3/4 ply with some moulding on the edges.
Glass will go in the top for dish box, Xbox, etc.

The boards are glued together and have braces underneath, the wood is very heavy and sets on top, I did go back and put some small clips on the interior where I drilled a wood screw into the bottom in about 8 places.

New bed for baby girl. Started at noon today and just finished.
I still need to build a headboard for it, maybe next weekend.

Pretty cool. You gonna make drawers for it or is it just a cubby hole type deal?

I built 2 platform beds for my boys. The wife sanded and stained them.

I made a water pump belt out of duct tape one time, it got me home, that was neat, but really, I have built bunches of shite for somebody else. I invented and built a stacking system for a sheet metal slitter that I used to have, it worked really well and cost me about 10 bucks to build back in the late 80s.

That bed looks great man.
I just finished me entertainment cabinet. Now I just need a crane to move it inside the house.

If that's in a water prone area, I'd love to see how you did it!

looks good. did you get the doors fixed?
Posted on 3/16/15 at 12:50 pm to DLauw
Yeah. I ended up using 3/4 ply for a backing to hold everything straight, then put 1x4's around the edges. It's much easier to work with, and lighter.

Built a rod holder, no pics. It was a couple of old mop sticks and I tied each end with decoy string and strung each end to a roof rafter in my store house. Holds about 15 rods and reels. Total cost, nothing. Total time, 10 minutes. --

Still have some grinding and detail work to so its about 90% done. I'm pretty happy with it. Cedar and 1 1/2" steel flat bar.

I started a king size bed with rails and footboard this past weekend.
Headboard is almost done.
