Agreed.... Great job!
Found the next project for my man cave. Gonna take this n make a WW2 fighter wing out of it to hang over the couch.
After all, I did name my cave "The Flight Line". ;)

Table we happened to see in Marshall's , of all places. I dickered them down, pointed out some dents n stuff and they took it down another 25%.
LOL...Little did they know that the legs were coming off it ten minutes after I got it home.
Mounted machine guns on it today in the wings. Not sure if I'm gonna go with an American themed P-47 wing/markings or a German FW-190 scheme.
I am a mutt after all, so either would do nicely.

Thanks mucho!!!
Just watched it. He made it look easy.
That said, I'm glad I found mine already built. Just have to modify it. ;)

Yeah.. That's next on the agenda.
Fun part comes when I get to shoot it up a little to make some bullet holes in it. I'm thinking 20 gauge slugs should do the trick.

Just gotta get a few caution signs stenciled on and then hit a couple 3 or 4 times with a 20 ga and she'll be ready for the wall

Half kraut...get it right
Actually since it's going to be a "war trophy" on the wall it made more sense to do a German plane.
Kinda defeats the purpose of victory if you hang up a "wing" of an American downed warbird.

Top is 12" wide and is a 1x12 #1 pine. The sides are just 4" crown molding and the bottom is a 1x8 #1 pine. I had just glued and nailed all together and then past a router 1/4 round bit around the top and bottom edge.
I left the backside open all but about a foot from each end. Used some 1x4 pine to fill that area.
Leaving the back open was away to mount it to the wall. I just screwed a piece of 2x4, leveled on the wall were I wanted to mount, slipped the mantle over it and nail from the top along with glue.
On the backside, I would do that different to were I would have a trap door to hide shite in it, But I have a floor safe, so no big deal.
