his is some water oak and after drying about 9 months, it's good to go. These are the boards after air drying.

Got a little more done today. Of course even I make mistakes.
Forgot to take I account the draw hardware.
Had to cut the long sides down, make new sides.
Anyway, got the vanity base done other then the draw faces, doors and the top.
Of course, it's raining again

I built little cabinet to use in my shop. I need to make some drawer fronts for it. I used some hardwood runners to make the slides.

im planning on building a L bar/cabinet/shelves for under my tv outside on my patio. I want it to house my small fridge and place to store stuff

I was going to do that, but you have to keep them waxed. To date, I have $62 in this.
Draw runners were $10 a pair and a sheet of 1/2" luan and glue was the rest.

I kind of have a idea I might try first. Being the counter top will be live edge and I do have some live edge oak boards wide enough for the draws and doors, I might go that route. If I don't like it, then raised panel doors.

I made this wall hanger. Cut the pattern out of half inch plywood and painted it gold leaf. And a piece of Luan painted black and glued it to the back.

Vanity top just about done. Just need to trim and sand it a bit more.

Got a little more done today. Woke up around 2am sick as a dog.
Anyway, my plans were to white wash it. Well, the more I thought about it, white washing it would of had way to much white in the room. So, I went a 180 degrees the other way.
Very very happy I did that.
What shock me is that the live edge turn out darker, which it really brings out things.
After drinking a six pack, I had came up with a idea outside the box for the drawer fronts and the doors.
Stay tune.

Real nice. How much money would you say is tied up in it. Can you just park it in any "natural" waterway or do.you have to have a lease?
