It's most likely a pipeline leaking (10% chance) or a problem in one of the nearby storage domes (89% chance).

Ghost, squatch, scuba tank, gators and swamp gas = 1% chance.

I know some folks that work at the nearby storage domes. I'll ask them what they know about them.

We were out there last Friday, I thought it was a leak in the gas pipeline. We didn't smell any odor but at the point the gas shouldn't be odorized. It was bubbling pretty damn good when we passed over it.

So if it were a leak in a salt dome storage facility, what happens? How can they fix that sort of thing?

Also, what happens if the leak gets worse or out of control?

I would assume they'll have to empty the domes and repair, if they can, or vacate them.

The people who've been fishing there lately. Have these bubbles affected the fish?

i work with a couple people who live on bayou corne...it's definitely some type of gas leak but they don't know if its from pipelines or salt domes, they've also been feeling some slight shaking in the area, enough to feel it in their houses but nothing has registered on a scale yet, they also said this same thing was happening about 10 years ago

If Kevin Bacon shows up in a gray 4x4. It's the worms from tremors.

You will need to find a rock outcropping to sit on. Only way to survive.
