My Gila Wilderness trip (pic heavy)

Returned yesterday from the Gila Wilderness with my old college roommate. I'll let the pictures tell most of the story, but in short, he tagged out within 3 hours (which is legal in NM), and I came home with 2 empty tags. It was still a great trip.

We both were wearing snake boots. I forget the brand.
And yes, I packs were quite heavy. Both were around 55-60lbs. The hunting gear adds about 15lbs.

What made that trail?
The trails are maintained by the rangers, but the trail we were on is a popular trail for riding horses into the wilderness.
There was a group of old rich guys dressed up like movie cowboys riding horses down the trail. They kept yelling "yeehaw!" and wanted us to take their picture together. It was quite odd.
