I'm 6'4" 240 and went with the wilderness system ride 135. First yak and got it from pack an paddle. I can stand and cast and it feels pretty stable but sounds like that KC is ridic. Still to cold to attempt any casting with the fly rod while standing.

If anyone is interested in a report from Cypremort point. I went today with a neighbor and got a few black drum, croakers and cats (fresh shrimp)

Saw lots of reds but they were being bait snobs and not interested in our offerings. Fished the marsh to stay out of the wind.

They're great for the price. The room on a KC is incredible though. On my Ascend I have no more room. Yesterday in the KC it looked empty

we caught 3 reds and a speck.

KC is helping out the LSU kayak club tremendously...
