Also: join BCkfC. $25 a year and get members maps and reports. Definitely worth it

I have a bad back and can't get comfortable in a Kayak because your legs are extended straight out. I can only take about an hour and misery starts. I'm too old for that shite.
I really suggest something else that allows you to sight upright. There are some pretty cool individual fishing boats that would work better.
I have a skiff that allows shallow water fishing and comfort. My two favorite things.

At first you think you'll flip it, but then realize you cant
Trollin motor on a KC would be my optimal setup. And can still paddle if needed

It doesn't hurt that often, as long as I can stand up and stretch, I'm good.

You'll be standing the whole time if the wind isn't bad

If you buy a KC I may have to upgrade to one.

Once I'm out of college and can afford one I'll probably get one

DrTyger, were you looking at the Tarpon on Craigslist?

I've never been one to halfass anything.
Considering my size and the need to be able to stand and stretch, I might go with the KC.

I know the guys who started KC pretty well. They work hard and have a great product.

No, it was LA sportsman. Might be the same on though.
There's another ad for tarpon 120 on there too, newer model but more expensive.

Anybody use something like this? With my toolbox, I don't think I could haul one without one of these.

I just saw one on CL marked as sold.

I got one I'll hook you up with. It's a Jackson big tuna in yellow jacket color. It was used twice. I used it as a single. It will fit you.
