Have any of y'all ever had to move a boat around a warehouse, garage or tight storage area where a vehicle would not fit? If so, would you recommend a 4wheeler or dollies? Boat trailer is tandem axle, and with boat and trailer weighs approximately 4000 lbs.

The key is to be able to move it alone of which I can't do.

I'm assuming it's 4k lbs. it's a 24 ft bay boat.

If you own a warehouse, I would assume you'd have some sort of forklift. If you are renting space, the same would apply. If you are
mooching space, then ask a friend.

the best thing I have ever used for that was a lawnmower with a trailer ball mounted on the front...it was unbelieveably manuverable and just easy to deal with...

You could say mooching space as long as I take the owner fishing occasionally.

The issue has occurred because we are trying to fit 2 more bay boats into the warehouse. The warehouse entrance is not large enough to turn a vehicle and trailer. The trailer would have to be connected to something with a shorter wheelbase. Just didn't know if a 4wheeler would have enough capacity. Was trying to get something dual purpose over a forklift.

Once you get a boat/trailer moving on a smooth surface it rolls pretty easy. I think a 4 wheeler would work well. I've also seen something on Iboats or somewhere that's supposed to make it a one man job, good luck.

It does.
A Honda 250 4 wheeler is strong enough to pull a full size Silverado out of a camp yard mudhole. Do not ask whose truck it was or who stuck it there.

I have something my FIL made that has a long handle, two wheels and a ball on it. I would have to take a pic and post it for you to see.

For doing this on the regular, you need one of these:

A 4wheeler if you have the space and the fumes being in an enclosed area aren't an issue for anyone. Also, you have to store it. If those aren't a factor and you don't have far to travel, a trailer dolly would work.

If you go the maual dolly route just be careful. I have a buddy that used one it slipped and his jaw had to be wired back together afterwards. Also a manual dolly is a major PIA with a tandem trailer IMO.

I have one of those in a box never used my dad gave me. Tried one before on my boat and didn't do any good. Four wheeler not much help either. Problem with my boat is the jack is fixed and only cranks up a certain height and that's as low as you can drop the trailer tongue. Probably be easiest to use a couple if guys to push it around.
