Have any of you ever had issues with a Moultrie Camera ?

When I put the SD card in it doesn't click and the reader keeps stating "No SD Card".

Can this be fixed or should I trash it ?

I have one that is maybe three years old. Best camera ive ever had and this year is doing the same thing you described . Let us know what they say about it.

there is a hard reset on most Moultrie cameras. Usually have to have a paperclip or a pushpin tack to do it. Look at your owners manual online and do that before you send it back.

Although it could be the card (check to see if the card is locked), 43.785% of game cameras are pieces of crap right out of the box. 36.125% will crap out within the first year. 100% of them will make you curse the manufacturer at some point within 3 years.

I called Moultrie last Friday about an issue with one of their Panoramic 150 cameras(3 years old) and the lady on the phone told me they no longer have a repairs department so I would have to mail the camera in to them and they may or may not just replace the entire unit. She told me it's up to whatever the warehouse manager wanted to do.

I have found that my Moultries sometimes don't work properly if you don't format the card in the camera when you first put it in. Just hit the option to erase all images when you first put sd card in and it will format. I have a few brands and maybe there is some coding from other cams it doesn't like.

I would at least try that before sending it back

Mine is old also, I called Moultrie and they said no fix or warranty.

But the lady gave me a code for 50% a new one, that's pretty sweet.

Make sure to try a new card. Also use a full size SD card. Dont use a card that is a micro sd card with an adapter.

Just got two M30. No trouble yet but only been out 3 weeks. Only beef is wish they had a 2 minute time lapse between pictures. 1 minute is to short and 5 minutes to long. Had over 600 pictures in one week set on 1 minute,
