I will join team Spoon on this one.

Mimics a shad and can be used in just about any application fresh/salt in the world to catch predatory fish.

Do I get only one of these baits or can I have more than one if one wears out? Am I using this bait for food to survive or just to catch fish?
fish will be a main source of your nutrition and you can have how ever many packs of that bait that you want. I.e. 100 #4 spoons. Or 100 packs of red shad worms (with hooks n sinkers)

Spinnerbait

I was just thinking a beetle spin would be hard to beat. Catch any species but catfish on it. If I got two this would go well with my wennie.

Either a fluke or a spoon. I think I'm leaning towards the fluke because it's a little more versatile.

Fluke would have an advantage in an area with structure or vegetation.

Spoon has the advantage of being able to cover a much broader area of water. You can cast a spoon a lot further which is why i would choose it. Ounce for Ounce it is just more aerodynamic than any bait i can think of.
