Made roast yesterday, saved the drippings to make a gravy today.

Does anyone have a gravy recipe that doesn't use butter. I found some and made it with butter. Just 2 tablespoons and now the gravy taste like butter.

Grilled ribeye steaks along with grilled okra and yard long beans, sautéed mushrooms, baked potato with real bacon bits, sour cream spiked with fresh basil, parsley and green onions and real butter.

I drank a cocktail and the wife had her glass of wine.

If you have plenty of drippings you dont need butter. I take about 1 tablespoon of cornstarch per cup of cold water and whisk in to the drippings. Stir it and simmer. Season to taste. A little beef bullion works well
