Everything I’ve read says it’s good to go to apply it this time of year. Just wanted to check and see if anyone he used it in the LA summer heat? Seems to be safe but I don’t want to end up with a brown lawn

I got it a HD in Denham. Seems like it’s kinda hard to find! There was a lady in there who said she drove from Lafayette to buy some

It really doesn’t work that well when compared to top brands.

Its dried up sewage from Milwaukee, so I’m sure it can be applied any time without problem.

I tried it this year based on glowing reports on the OB. Not impressed.

And my yard smelled like sewage for about 4 days. Won't use it again.

Just put down three bags. For 12 bucks a bag I figured it’ll be worth a try. I took some before pics so I’ll update in a week or 2 with progress if anyone cares

Why not just use Rainbow 15-5-10 before a rain or water really well?

$12/50lb is cheap and if applied properly this time of year you're not going to hurt your lawn.

Day 1 update: my yard smells slightly worse than a barnyard. Hopefully that’ll be gone in a few days
These are the photos I took after I spread it yesterday. My front was already in decent shape but I have a few bad brown spots in the backyard

You need to topdress or use funguscide promptly

It has chelated iron in it, so it does a decent job with helping enrich the color of the grass. Not a lot of N-P-K, though. I believe it's like 6-4-0.

Yeah, I’m ready for that thing to go... it’s a FEMA trailer. Coming up on 2 years so you’d think their house would be livable by now.

Dang I was thinking about trying some out. I read it was slow acting so maybe it needs time to get going. How long did you try it out for?
