They dont really fact check anymore. They referenced waters south of Pass Christian (a town on Mississippi Coast). Once you go south and west from Pass you end up in Louisiana waters. This is why Biloxi Marsh and Chandeleur Islands are in Louisiana waters but mostly south of Mississippi Coast.

Landry doesn't care about political suicide because he thinks it can't happen to him. This is evidenced by the way he handles everything that he does. He doesn't even try to hide it anymore.

Landry does that its political suicide for him.

What if Trump presses him and he rebuffs Trump? Will that go any better for Landry?

As much as Landry sucks off Trump publicly, I'd love for this situation to present itself!

At best it would maybe lead to a 3 mile buffer out of state waters, which would be a decent win.

Makes me wonder if BTT has heard about this issue. If not, then they definitely need to.

Our fish are theirs too given their migration patterns, so I bet they would be all over this if/when they find out.

Probably a lot of the tarpon guys who witnessed this incident launched from Mississippi.

Brings up the fact that many fishermen/boats who used to fish out of grand isle have moved their whole operation to Mississippi because the tarpon have left the west side of the Mississippi (west delta, grand bayou etc) due to the pogey boats.

Lousiana is losing its tarpon fishery in large part due to the pogey boats.
