I stay in the main bayou.
I run 13 nets, used perch and catfish heads. Perch worked way better.

Well we had another crabbing adventure this AM.
Had a good report of fat females on the beach in Grand Isle. Loaded up the family and left the house at 6. First net in the water for 7:45. Ran them 3 times and a had a grand total of 2 crabs. Called an audible and went to a spot on Elmer's Island where we caught 90 last year at this time. Put the nets out, checked them twice and had a grand total of 4. Looked at my wife and told her frick this, let's go get the boat.....
Left Elmer's Island and ran back to Raceland, got the boat and went drop the nets in my Honey Hole on the PAC WMA. Dropped the nets and in 6 passes on 24 nets we had 132 crabs.
Now I'm whooped, ready for bed.... when I wake up I'm going after the Lake Runners..... need the heads for crab bait!!
