Here is Drake on the ride home from the camp a couple of weeks ago. He's a little sleepy. He is a Labkin. He is almost 7 months old. We are training him but are not hunting him this year.

He loves retrieving bumpers. We introduced him to gunfire at the range with him in the truck. This week we will be introducing him to gunfire again, this time with pellet gun over his head while he is eating.

Here's a spoiled rotten boykin

She was just rolling around in the grass. Very smart. very independent minded. Gun shy since she was raised in the house and I didn't do anything to stop her from being shy of guns.

Teaching her to be a squirrel dog, since she watches them all day through the front window.

Maybe to track deer too. We'll see next week.

Thonly things he hunts are his next meal, his next nap, and his next place to poop. We still love him.
