Looking for hunting club in South MS

I am looking for a good hunting club in Southern MS for next year, going forward. I recently relocated to the northshore area and looking for some help in figuring out what areas are good for my needs approximately 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours away. I know nothing about the McComb, Picayune, Brookhaven areas, but have been told by numerous people that the deer population in the boot of LA is not ideal for my needs.
I mostly deer hunt, but somewhere with duck potential is a huge plus.

Being a northshore resident I wouldn't just pass up on the washington parish hunting. Since Katrina with all the thickets the deer population has definetly increased. We are up to averaging about 3 deer per person on our lease per year I think that's a pretty good figure.
There is something to be said for being in the stand in 30 minutes from work or home.

Deer hunting in McComb/Brookhaven is crap. If you want quality deer hunting, drive the extra to the Woodvlle area, Natchez, Or a little father north to Vicksburg area. IMO its worth it.

We hunted near Brookhaven one year and it was a terrible exprience. We hardly saw deer much less killed anything. The worse part is the people there hate Louisiana people so if they find out you from La they will still you blind.

Ft. Adams had some of the best hunting I've ever experienced. Would go there over Brookhaven.

20 min from brookhaven. when we get out the woods we head to brookhaven to eat. I wouldn't say its crap.
