We bought our boxers a couple of those horse play balls from tractor supply a couple of years ago and they are still in great shape.

A kong ball is about $12 IIRC and a lacrosse ball is $2........

This.
It finally ripped and the ball came out after about a month, but they still love the canvas cover, and play with it all the time, had it for probably a year now. - 3 GSP's

Any of the black Kongs as they are stronger. And Antlers. Expensive, but they last a while.

Kong Wubba works for me
My Boykin spaniel first ripped the tentacles off the wubba on his third play session with it. 4th play session he pulled the rope off strand by strand.

Until I got her some hooves. She eats bones like they're churros. She eats leather bones and pig ears like they're pudding. Nylabones eventually are just nubs. But a hoof will take her a little while and she won't stop gnawing on it till she's got it gone. Very handy if I'm going to be gone for awhile.
Thanks on cow hoove suggestion. The dog appears to have met his match!!!

6-8" peice of bamboo ~2" diameter is about the only thing that last my GSP any time at all. I'll have to try the lacrosse balls though.

I grabbed a bunch of old small antlers the last time at the deer camp. They are nearly indestructible. And contain minerals when they do eventually start whittling them away. Buying them is way expensive though

Pit's favorite toy was a coconut. He'd find one when we'd go surf fishing in Cameron. Spend a few hours tearing the hide off then play with the nut for months. Every time we went, he found a new one to bring home. Warning: they will frick up your lawn mower blade.
