Loading a deer into a Ranger or Truck by yourself

To all those experienced hunters on the OB:
What are some of your tricks to loading a deer onto a ranger or truck by yourself? I've had a hard time on a few that weren't that big, especially in the rain and mud, so imagine I would have a really hard time with a monster.
What do you guys do when you are loading by yourself?
TIA

I put on my big boy underware and throw that sucker up there.

Get under a tree. Throw rope over limb and hoist that monster up there.

just go into it know that you're going to get dirty.
If its a heavy one. have a 30-40' rope with you. throw 1 end over a sturdy tree limb or something and use it as a pully. lifts a 200 lb deer with the force needed for a 100 lb deer (+ friction

Back in the day my dad loaded a big 6pt. in the trunk of a Chevy Caprice (big hooptie car)... He pulled the horns in and somehow got them tied off inside the trunk, then he lifted the rest of the deer in.
Mom wasn't too happy with the smell... Ahhh, good times.

I would suggest mounting a winch to the roll cage of the ranger. Just suck the deer into the bed.

I had this problem with a hog last year. It was raining and I couldn't get him up and into the 4 wheeler rack...slippery and gross.
I haven't killed a deer yet that gave me too much of a problem (nothing to big, or had someone there to help). I usually grab front legs in one hand, back in the other and try to swing them. Otherwise, pull them from one end a little at the time until it gets there.

the spike I shot this year was easy. grabbed the front legs in 1 hand and the back in the other. lifted straight up and plopped him down on the front of the bike
Gotta love them 110# deer

On a four wheeler I stand up on the seat and drag them up and over the bike head first then just slide them back onto the rack. Pretty painless.
ETA: Last deer I shot we just rolled him into the buck on the tractor
By far the easiest one ever.

Not sure where they got it but, my neighbors have the electric ranger and they have a device they hook into the towing receiver that winches the deer up then swivels so you can drop them in the back.

No Hooptie here, but I think getting the head/horns tied off in the bed of the ranger, then pulling in the back legs may be the best (easiest)suggestion. That's how the gator hunters pull the 500 lb gators into the boats, so should work for a 200# deer.

You could always tie him to the hitch and drag all the way back... LMAO

I have a pulley attached the a piece of angle iron in the bed of the ranger. I run a piece of rope through the pulley and attach it to the deer head. Before i start pulling i tilt the ranger's bed and prop it up with a peice of wood cut to the correct height to keep the bed tilted. Pull the deer most of the way up and tie the rope off to the arm rest of the ranger. Remove the wood that is holding the bed on an angle and then pull the deer the rest of the way in to the ranger.

If you didn't care about your paint job you could run a rope under the truck, tie it off to something, run it up and over the top and tie it to the horns then just pull forward.

Sorry for being an arse, I was trying to be funny.
I failed.
I carry a cheap walmart gambrel and block and tackle with me ($19). If I have difficulty gettting one in the truck of 4 wheeler, I drag it to a suitable tree and use the rig to lift it on the bike.
Also, field dressing a deer or hog drops about 20% of its weight.
You can also place the deer about 4 ft from but directly in line with the atv/utv rack with its legs facing away from the bike then kneel between the legs and pull the front legs and head over your shoulder, then transition to a single knee down position and with a single forward upward motion standup and lift/push the deer up on the atv/utv.
If you use this method make sure to check yourself for ticks later.
