My front end on my z71 Tahoe is sitting about an inch or two lower than my back end. I want to level it out, was wondering what prices I am going to be looking at? Any recommendations for a place in new Orleans to do it?
also what size tires would it be able to fit once it is level? Or is that something I would just have to wait and see once it is done?

Socket wrench is all you need. Crank your torsion bars.

I put a leveling kit on my 2008 Z71. I don't remember it being all that expensive, like $200 or $300 for the kit itself. I had 4Wheel Parts in Houston put it on for like $100 more. Then you have to re-align it which is some more $$$$.

I was able to clear 33's or a 285 Mud Terrain.

You can get some clearance this way but ride quality is gonna suffer.

Crank your torsion bars. 1-1/4" socket if I'm not mistaken. Jack up your front end. Mark the torsion nut with a line so you know how many times you turned them. 2 to 3 full turns should do it. Ride around a day, let it settle. Check your height and then go get a front end alignment done.

05 Tahoe you should be able to get 33" tires to fit.

Extended bump stops will solve this problem.

Most people don't but with out extended bump stops the front end tends to bounce around a lot more. They are cheap and very easy to install.

was going to start a new thread for this, but figure I would hijack this one instead. 2004 z71 tahoe, about time I replace my shocks, should I stick with the stock Bilsteins or get something different?

1.5 cranks on the torsion bars worked for my Tahoe. I had to go back and minutely adjust each side a week later(after it settled), but it is level now.

Jack Tahoe up
Drink a beer
Get 3/4" socket wrench and whatever size socket
Turn a couple of times and make sure they turn the same amount
Drop car
Measure
Adjust

True that but that only comes in to factor if he's a hardcore off roader. For normal driving conditions and taking it out on the lease. Extended bump stops will do what he needs.

+1 on the Bilsteins. Prices are real good and you're getting a top notch product.

No shite, people amaze me sometimes

The basics of up and down with control arms aren't that hard to understand. Just cause one idiot on a forum somewhere says it is true doesn't make it true. You'd think they would notice something when they jacked up the car, but noooope

FWIW, I put Bilsteins on my 05 Z71 Tahoe, and it rode like shite afterwards. It was actually to the point of being dangerous on fire roads and at high speeds. Returned them and just got regular old KYB monotubes. They were awesome on every other car I have put them on, just not the Tahoe

People make this mistake plenty of times. Just thinking hey I'm going to buy some cool brand name shock and my truck will glide like air. You can go out and buy FOX, Bilstein, King, Rancho but if the compression in the shock is all wrong for your application the shock will suck. FOX/Bilstein/King let you build your shocks per the specs you need so your vehicle doesn't ride like crap. Rancho has adjustable settings on some of their shocks. This is what I have on my Hummer.

I didn't just go randomly buying shocks willie nilly. They are specifically valved to a 2005 Tahoe 2wd Z71, with the right length of travel. You are right on one thing though, the compression stroke was too stiff. I went over this with the guys at Bilstein many times.
