Not bad. I have 2 UL that sizeish already though, and inset the hell outta em. My next sacalait pole is gonna be 8' or longer with a cheap tiny UL reel. One of those BnM jigging poles maybe.

Really? I got a shimano with one that I've had for 10 years and never had a problem

I already got 2 UL spinning reels/rods, 3 push button spincast UL reels/rods and 1 trigger UL rod and reel.... I need to stay my arse out of bass pro

All the spinning reels I bought with a trigger were relatively cheap and the trigger snapped within a year. None of them still work though.

I had to fish for everything with a jig pole for an entire summer when I destroyed my arm. Bass fishing with a jig pole sucks.

Here in Mizou I use 10 and 12 ft BnM Jig Poles . Put a Zebco Trigger spin on them (just a glorified line holder)

I'm starting to rather these to UL for bream fishing. No annoying loops in the spool, fooling with a bail, or any of that. I'm usually only reeling to reel in a fish anyway

I prefer those and push button spincast for cork fishing
Posted on 2/1/12 at 12:34 pm to Tino
For bream and sacs I'm either using a cork or jigging off the bottom or in holes in grass (use the trigger spin for that) or beetle spin (on the UL). Pretty much all I know how to catch them

Jigging with a spinning reel, I back off the drag to were I'm able to pull line out easy. No need to open the bail. This also helps out on line twist.

I agree. Only really bothers me when I'm casting pretty far though.

I had a zebco omega for a while that was FINE for a zebco reel. Damn thing was awesome. Little brother broke it
