If you want to cut weight, trade rifle for a short action and short barrel.

1+. And get a light contour/thin barrel. Also, depending on the scope used there' s the potential for saving a few oz. For example, look at two extremes from the Burris line up. The 3-15X, 50 mm objective, 30 mm tube Veracity weighs 25.1 ounces. The 2-7X, 35 mm objective, 1" tube Fullfield weighs only 12 ounces.

looks like a factory Browning Tupperware stock (injection molded) that was hydro-dipped in a treebark pattern

ETA: it was a SHOT Show model- “Limited Run” - whatever that means. I spotted on the rack at Hunter’s Hollow in Oxford then tried to find it online. Couldn’t find one like it anywhere else. Went back 2 days later and got it.
