Oh man, this is the truth right here.
The morning after the loss to Bama in the BCS Championship game, I decided to kick off my first post ever over on the freakin' TIGER RANT with a question regarding pen raised quail and their suitability to survive on 15 acres in North Louisiana for any period of time.
Suffice to say those guys were already pretty riled up about the events the night before. Didnt go well for me. Wanted to crawl to the bottom of the internet and die.

Little bit of both. I know a guy here in Farmerville that has some good dogs that I am gonna take him with and I will continue to work him in my yard.

How far you willing to travel? I have some MS river bottom hardwoods and some Feliciana hill country.

You asking me or the OP? If I had a finished dog I would go just about anywhere but with a puppy I will stick close to home.
How far from Lumberton are you? It would be great to try and Curtis Ladner himself in the woods for a hunt.

My dog is finished. I don't shoot the squirrels anymore. We take kids and let them shoot. They really get a kick out of it cause they just get to be as noisy and loud as they want.

I'm not far from farmerville really. If you have a finished dog to go with it will really speed up the training. They learn quicker from other dogs
