I've notice grass has came back in the canals and surrounding ponds around gulf canals, but I'm talking about the original demise of that lake. In 2005 there were boat lanes in the middle of the lake through the grass. You could only fish the middle of the lake. As the grass started to disappear those fish had less places to hide. Then the classic showed locals what really was there and the rest is history..

Has a lot more to do with Davis Pond flow being dialed back due to oystermen bitching. LDWF had stocked it with Florida strain when the diversion first started pumping at full blast, I believe they’ve slacked off knowing it would go back to being wiped out with any good storm.

Made another trip yesterday evening, more of the same.
Unlimited 8”-10” bass, 1-2lb fish almost as plentiful, a few scattered 3-5lb fish.. all went back.

Also bream and shell crackers are thick
