Gottcha. Well I didn't make it out onto the water until about 8:30 this morning. Fished for about 90 minutes without a bite.

Lake Martin wasn't too shabby this morning. Fish were chasing bait all over the place. It was tough to get them to commit though. Got a lot of slaps on topwater. Caught about 10 or so, ended up with 5 in the cooler. Caught a few on buzzbait and the rest on senko.

Gonna go through the GoPro footage later.

Slam winner was around 11lbs and the think the winning redfish for the kayak had 8 spots
Most caught in west cove

Well, I still have to paddle. If I did 8 miles, I probably wouldn't be able to lift my beer.

ETA: autocorrect has been whoopin my arse lately.

Thinking about making an afternoon trip to Henderson tomorrow. Would anyone want to tag along? I want to learn to fish the area.

I'd be happy to go with you if I didn't already have obligations. Good luck if you go.

Finished editing the GoPro footage last night.

You should have enough room. The end of the dock is where the ramp ends. They have a sign and everything indicating where it is. Probably about 15 feet from the water line to the end of the ramp.

ETA: There were a couple bass boats out there. The problem they were having was trying to use their trolling motor in the grass and stumps. Hell, I was running into stumps with my yak.

Janky, i hit a buncha stumps in my boat last weekend, too. I was getting fairly annoyed. Once i melted my trolling motor fuse bc of the grass, i was ready to gtfo. But i didnt catch shite. If i was flipping em in the boat like pillage manages to do everytime he hits the water, i may have replaced the fuse and kept fishing
