Yep, sounds like a outdoor contingent. We should form a crew to head up annually

Good luck. We usually hunted Kansas the first week of November. Bucks responded well to horns.

Yes by myself. I have three weeks. My wife is flying up next weekend for us to do tourist stuff around Rapid City but hunting before and after that.

Count me in, I am already trying to plans next yr trip.

You sure you dont want to go back up? The season is open to the 29th, my tag is district 5 which is from Livingston to the Crow up to Mosby.

There is more grouse and chucker than you can shake a stick at and I am sure we can find some big ole fat green heads.

$310 round trip from the 17th to the 23rs with United right now.

Duck hunted with a buddy on Thursday. He showed me photos of a couple of whitetails taken over by Sheridan that morning. On Wednesday I watched a nice buck cross a big pasture behind the house onto my place looking for some does I saw earlier. It was about 4 in the afternoon. So, they are moving.

The weather is supposed to get better (colder, snowier) next weekend. Duck hunting sucks right now. It’s too nice. The birds are spread out and no northerns yet. I’ve seen a fair amount of Huns in the last week or so.

The whitetail hunting around yall makes me incredibly jealous. Find any type of bottom and its loaded with deer and they just follow the bottoms. We were close by a bottom that was 40-50yrds across and dozens of deer just funneling through including a couple nice bucks. Setup in the middle of it and you have a shot that any deer that comes by.

A serious whitetail hunter would do well in my area. These guys seem to walk and set up ground blinds verses using a climber. They are way more focused on elk.
