on my fiance'. I went and bought a tikka t3 .270 today and sold my remington 700 .270 to a friend. I told her I wasn't going to buy another gun anytime soon, but I couldn't resist. Fingers crossed on her not noticing.

vs

Unless she is a gun enthusiast, or is paying close attention, I doubt she'll notice

I remember my dad pulling this stunt a few times. One gun he bought, I think it was his 10/22, he kept it out in his truck for almost a year. Took it trapping set in the bottom of the boat so that It'd get a few scratches in it, and told mom that he had had it for years.

If bringing guns home is a sin, you may want to reconsider the choice. No self respecting Southern gentleman is going to let a female tell him if he can purchase one of life's finer things!

I bought two in the last year the wife doesn't know about. Once you get enough of them they can't tell what you have Bought a AK underfolder and a MPA-10

This.... I left my new varminter on the guest bed for two weeks and my wife never knew the difference. I hate to be a sneaky bastard but wives don't understand about men and their gun collection.

My wife never begrudges me buying anything. She figures if I spend a few bucks, she has the go ahead to spend at least as much. Hence I sneak a few purchases into the house.

Works on my wife, although she does tell me to buy what I want.
