What’s your go to range ammo for a 9mm?
For protection are you using hollow points?

Range ammo - anything that isn’t steel-cased. Doesn’t really matter.

What civil tiger said re: range ammo. I’ve only shot HST through mine as far hollow points go.

For range ammo anything brass cased that shoots. If you are going to shoot a lot, you can save serious money buying bulk online.
For self defense 9mm, I like good +p hollow points, preferably federal HST or speer gold dot.
9mm has endless options and there are many very good ones

Get whatever is cheap for range ammo. Try as many options as you can and you'll find what runs well for a good price.
For defense ammo, I like Gold Dots.

Buffalo bore makes great defense rounds. I have some for my cm9

I found some good deals online at PSA for Fiocchi and Blazer a while back and bout a few thousand rounds. I like it better than the Winchester I was using from Academy. Online it worked out to be about 7.99 per 50.

Yes...look at PSA for when they offer Fiocchi or Blazer for $7.99/box for range ammo. Usually free shipping if you order 10 boxes or $100...something like that. I always order 1000 rounds at a time.
They do affordable bulk cases of Blazer as well, but I am not a fan of bulk ammo...it is usually dirtier.

If you don't mind shooting steel and your local Wally caved to the SJWs then you can get some Wolf FMJ for .13 a round at Outdoor Unlimited (50 for 6.75 or 1000 for $133).

Speer gold dot for protection, Ventura Munitions for range ammo. Box of 250 is a great deal usually.
