I would really like to see a photo where the snake wasn't 4 feet closer to the camera than the guy hoisting it.

8 ft, that snake is massive. They have another snake on their facebook page they ran over which was a smaller one, probably more 5 fter range.

Let this be a lesson to all on here. Carry a tape measure and get really good photos of cool shite. That way we can enjoy the photos of dead stuff and not have to worry how big it really was...

Absolutely no way. First of all because I believe that would be a world record length. Second of all because the picture, with the distorted proportions doesn't even look 8 feet long.
