2nd day Montana elk hunt West Yellowstone. 45° light winds from NW. Matthews Arc. Rage broad heads.

We’re into them yesterday. Got about 100 yds into a Bull bedded up with 20 cows and they slipped us. Going hike back in a few.

First sit for me too. St. Tammany. Hot and muggy. ENE though it’s not moving much. Leftover rainwater falling from tree leaves so had good sound cover walking in. Hoping for a doe but not being super picky this morning.

Just had a doe and twins pass through. She was a nice deer. Lucky she had her twins with her.
