Breezy

Just had a buck at about 200 yards that was worth ground checking. He was just feeding around but I couldn’t commit to the shot. Hopefully he’ll make his way around and come in closer. Already slipped up and killed one young buck this year. Didn’t wanna do it again

ETA: He needed on the edge of the woods. Believe he is a big 4yr old 6pt I was after during bow season

Yea he’s on the hit list. Just rather have him around for a woman or kid to shoot.

Yes it is, especially when you are sitting still. Killed my biggest doe at 8 degrees a couple of years back. Actually right where I’m hunting today.

Headed to a buddy's cabin outside Mineola this morning for a couple days. There's been a fair amount of shooting the last few days.

Good luck!

Just had a good 8pt come by chasing a doe. Small 6pt tagging along behind them.

That looks like a different deer. The bedded deer looks heavier than the deer in that trail cam picture

Yea was hard for me to be sure it’s the same one. Maybe I’ll get a closer look this weekend

ETA: Back in the same stand. Already saw a 6pt chasing a doe and a spike working scrapes. Phn just alternated to a tornado warning so, this will be fun
