Went before work. Saw nothing. Left 7:30 to deal with southwest cluster after they cancelled my flight 48 hrs before and no other avail flights for days. Ruined 20 yr anniv trip

Looked at foodplot at 7:50 and 5 deer feeding. Then a small buck at 9:30. Thanks Southwest. You managed to screw up my trip and deer hunting

Now some poor deer is about to catch Rage 2.0 that otherwise probably wouldve let walk

Back box ridge

Came earlier to trim a couple branches that are very deer-like looking out of front box, midday deer cruisin’ around on back box…of course.

1 squirrel this morning that had a tumor on its shoulder. Gave it to our resident owl. Currently watching 3 squirrels, 2 limpkin, listening to a woodpecker do work, & saw a pair of common mergansers swim by. Could be worse.

Forgot to post. Just finished hunting area 4
Warmish to cold by the end of the hunt.
7-08 with my 11yo son
Saw a doe and a spike. Doe didn’t give us a chance. Spike walked around and ate greens.

Not always about the killing. It was a good hunt with my son.
