Confirmed kill.
Ran 30 yards and piled up.
I have killed a few with a PSE and several with a McPherson. First one with a xbow.

Summit climber

Climbing down to go scout and in mid climb (fully stretched out) a doe and 2 yearlings (no spots) come trotting in 10 yards from my stand. Stopped climbing, took my backpack and gloves off and started pulling my bow back up. They saw my bow heading up the tree and started walking away. Took a 50 yard shot at the doe and went right over her back

Could be that he is more impatient than myself, don't see how that is possible though

Yeah I didn't wear enough clothes so I was freezing and decided to get down and scout around. I can shoot well at 50 yards at a target, could be the broadheads or maybe my nerves. Would've been my first deer in 2 years

Either you have been trolling the IST threads the past few days, or I feel bad for you. Did you practice Cabelas Big Game Hunter in the off-season?

For the love of god man, shoot something today. If you scare away all of the deer, at least shoot a lizard or something

If you are going to scout do it after you already hunted a while not an hour.

I hope you were on PRIVATE PROPERTY with ONLY YOU Hunting it when you decided to go strolling at approximately 7:30!!

Good shot at 50 on a TARGET, huh? I bet you a $1,000 I can outshoot you at 50 and unless open woods or field, I would not take 50 yarder in the woods.
Use your head!

Yes I'm on MY land. And yes I'm a good shot at a target at 50 yards. Never said I was the best in the world so if you're better than me, good for you! And I'm hunting in a dried up pond 100 yards across. So there was NOTHING in the way of my shot.

I can't do it at my house. With my bow, 25 yards is the max I'll go because it flies so slow(1998 edition bottom of the line PSE). I could literally just move out of the way if someone shot at me with it at >25 yards. At 25 I also get 4" groups consistently. Any further out, and I am just spraying and praying.
