Faking work today, but I'll be in stand in the morning. Should be a nice weekend.

Not much chasing here. My brother saw a young buck chasing yesterday. Some some decent deer cruising yesterday.

I’m on 160 just east of Hwy 3

Any other year I’d have about 20 hunts in so far. Instead I have 3. Don’t wanna be tempted to use my last bow tag before the rut or put too much unnecessary pressure on the deer.

Same. I usually bust my arse hunting every minute for the first 3-4 weeks, then end up missing the best hunting times after thanksgiving. I'm holding out this year...but it's quite difficult lol.

58* 10mph NE wind
OB Turmoil abd Slick Tricks

Haven't had a dip of Copenhagen in 2 weeks and 2 days so I've got some smoky mountain wintergreen herbal snuff. I hope it works as an attractant.

Headed to the camp as soon as the bride walks through the door. Hog hunt tonight with NV and AR's over 200# of corn put out yesterday. There will be 4 of us and plenty of lead/copper downrange when those pigs show up.
