Back at house, our group noped out since there’s another cell posed to come through at 11:00. Will be back out tomorrow.

No deer were harmed this weekend.

Pig heart for breakfast tomorrow. About a 70 lb hog, didnt go 20. My podnuh was about 250 yards from me and heart all hell break loose when I shot her. Frickers die loud.

Pretty dead since the storm moved out.

Haven’t heard a single shot.

Just saw two does about 350 yards away. Not really dialed in for that with my 30.06

Back at it this afternoon. Same stand as this morning. My deer skinner, I mean son, showed up, so any grown doe that walks out is getting shot this evening.

70° and no wind. They should be moving this evening.

Youth hunt in TN, Maury county public, WMA. In a ground blind with 15yo. Had one come in this morning, but could not get the shot. Took a break to go to 10yo football game, they won. Back at it now, woods spot for the afternoon. Felt great this morning, but it's too dang hot and I decided we should walk a mile in, smart. Boy says no way for a tomorrow morning hunt ... I'll try to sell it if we don't get one here. Rain starts midday tomorrow here. I want the cold.
