I'm hunting with my dad and brother in law for a few days. I saw one doe shortly after daylight. I've also discovered 6 smashed cans of Keystone Light in the box stand this morning. This is odd because neither of them drink while hunting. BIL hunted this stand Friday afternoon and no beer cans were seen.

You have much better odds at a nice deer by hunting in a stand. I wish we didn't run them, but I'm not going to change the way other people hunt them. Plus my dad likes it and I'm mainly here to drink beers with him

Still layed up in a hospital bed.

Told them I'm going home one way or another today. I had enough of this shite.

If you are the dog handler, you should get first shot if you are fast enough. Used to love to run the dogs and killed many deer on the jump.

Just saw an 8 pointer. Too small to shoot. Will be a shooter next year.

My 8 year old made it to 830 this morning. Luckily we had a pile of squirrels and coons to entertain him. About to try again. ADHD meds have worn off and he's about to crawl out of his skin so this should be interesting

Passed on a on 9 or 10 does here yesterday. Watched them for 1 1/2 hours and I was going to shoot one at last light, then the yotes showed up. 2 less of them. Hopefully the deer show up again today. I have two bucks in mind that have been showing up regularly and another couple of really really good two year olds that I'm going to have to sit in my hands to keep from shooting.
