My FiL texted me he was going to the camp at about 830 and I said I'd stick it out to 10. 930 this one comes across chasing pussy. He gave me a shot just before getting behind some cedar and that was it. 1 of 3 decent bucks we've seen on the Moultrie Edge app the last 2 weeks scouting from our couches. Looks like he's seen some shite for his age.

Wanted to come down and dove hunt but it looks like they’ve all moved out, so deer hunting it is. Had a plumbing issue from the freeze and had to go over to the neighbors to get some fittings. They just got a pretty sweet rig made

Learn a valuable lesson this morning. I have an AR-10 .308 I bought to deer hunt with a few months ago. Get in the stand and want to be quiet to slowly pull the action back and let it go slowly to load the round. This is a meat hunt and I had my big doe in sight. Click. Action never grabbed the round. Doe gone.
