No worries. But you know, it's pretty easy to just recognize the 4 poisonous snakes we have here in LA. Cotton mouth, Rattlesnake, Copperhead and Coral Snake. If you can identify these, you won't need to fret the others.

Ugh ok...ya can take this shite however ya want to take it. I catch that snake with my kid in the back yard and I can't identify it.....chances are high that it will become a dead snake.

And

If I catch you in my back yard with my kid and I don't know you,,,,chances are high that you will become a dead human. It's not about protecting a stupid fricking snake...it's about protecting your kid.

This seems like a debate that will never be resolved on the OB. I for one never kill snakes, even venomous ones. (I probably would if they were in my yard cause of my kids). Some people do have a fear I snakes and I can understand that. I think if people would get better at identifying them, there would be less killing.

And there seems to be some butt hurt in this thread.
