Turned down being standing in a friends wedding and going to another friends daughters wedding as it was opening day so yeah I am ready. Would be more excited if there was feed in the ponds in Venice, but oh well it will be fun anyway.

Short tem likely but not long term. Normally they stay without much pressure but once the guns start going off they head to greener pastures. Hopefully this year will be different. I am in it for the long haul, will likely make 30-40 hunts down there so long as there are decent numbers of birds.
There are birds down there right now but not as many as normal IMO.

IMO no brainer. They can get married anytime, anyone that doesn't get married on the LSU bye week before hunting season opens in Louisiana doesn't deserve to have men at the wedding. End of Story

11/17 can't get here fast enough. Guy that we're leasing from just sent me a video from last week, and I shite you not, over 1k birds got up off the fields; lots and lots of green

I can see em, it just doesn't get much better. I'll be up in NE Arkansas so I'll have to wait a couple of weeks, but hopefully it'll be on

down to Delacroix saturday, been stacked down there since Oct 28 front and full moon. Can't wait! EZ youth hunt with some kids on Sunday
