Introducing the new GoPro 4: Session

Repeat after me: Smallest. GoPro. Ever.
The new Hero 4 Session is 50% smaller and 40% lighter than GoPro's flagship Hero 4 Black. The $399 cube-shaped camera reminds me a lot of the Polaroid Cube, another tiny cubed action camera. The two cameras may share a similar size and shape, but that's where the similarities stop.
The Session is superior in every possible way: It has the high-quality HD video recording you expect from a GoPro and a new dual-microphone system for the best sound out of any GoPro. The Session's sealed design also means it's waterproof up to 33 feet without needing a waterproof case the way other GoPros do.

That's pretty impressive.

Looks cool. But is the size of current go pros a problem?

Not to me. Battery life and 6 million attachments to keep up with were my problem. I gave my gopros away to a friend.

Maybe not, but other companies are catching up so GoPro had to do something different.

What's the average recording life of a GoPro?

I would without a doubt lose that thing.

Mine has never been out the package. Who wants it?

I have a history of losing GoPro's, I would for sure lose this thing. I've lost 2 this year and destroyed another.

I have only lost one, spent the next day down scanning that particular stretch of bank, located it in a hour or so, then took a swim. How are you losing them?

Too small for me. The normal ones are hard enough to keep level/stable.
Good for POV, but POV GoPro videos give me a headache.

Got drunk and decided to try and attach one to a kite and fly it off the back of my friends offshore boat. Of course it crashed and the line broke when it hit the water. Second one was on a clamp mount on my skiff that failed while running through chop.

I am skeptical about where I mount mine, if I am unsure, I just wear the chest harness.
