Apocalypse range is currently being built. The metal structure is up. It shouldn’t be much longer

I don't see anything mentioned on their website or on fb. I was there in October and a few weeks ago. I didn't see anything.

Are you possibly talking about LA Guns, or am I missing something?

Well, oddly enough, I was passing through Ponchatoula and stopped in. I asked about their range. I had no idea they were building a completely new location off I-55. They said the new store should be open by the end of January or beginning of February, but the range would open in March or April.

This is incredible! Soon they'll be a new range in Hammond/Ponchatoula, Madisonville, and Mandeville.

No it’s apocalypse. It’s being built on the service road off hwy22 and I-55.

Any updates on this. The building is coming together. Will it have a rifle range?

It’s real close to the house so I may have to try it out. Prefer outdoor ranges but nice to have this one close by

They have landscaping. I'll see if I can snap a picture when I drive by in the morning.

The range on 22 in Madisonville almost looks complete as well.

LA Guns and Range also opened a few weeks ago. I joined and have been 4-5 times already. Very nice facility. They have had some hiccups, but it's all good now.

Apocalypse Sports should also have their range up and running very soon. Their storefront is still my favorite gun shop anywhere in SELA. Place is great, and so are their prices.

Are all 3 just pistol ranges? Or any of them longer than 25 yards and allow rifles and shotgun?

there’s been a pistol range within east reach of BR and environs ever since bass pro opened. I don’t understand all these new pistol ranges opening…the one on millerville is empty every time I pass it in the afternoons. We need a safe, clean, easy, well put together rifle range which I realize costs money and land but just one of those that you don’t have to drive thru a swamp to get to or make a reservation weeks in advance for would be really nice

perhaps rifle range and safe just don’t go together in south LA

I think PAC allows rifles

Pretty sure a couple of lanes longer than 25 yards

Should have info on their website

Website says they have 10 lanes @ 25 yards. No mention of any longer lanes.

Says rifles allowed up to .50 BMG but anything bigger than .308 has to be approved by the range officer on duty.
